At Dublin Ranch Golf Club, we’ve been on Fish Shit for over a year now, and I can say I’m happy to have incorporated it into our program. Prior to using Fish Shit, we would see the typical summer decline of our bentgrass roots in our greens. Admittedly, we have incorporated other programs into our ag plan that may be contributing as well, but we have for certain provided a better soil root environment by using Fish Shit. This photo was taken in August last year at a time when we had only seen 2-3” roots in years prior to the use of Fish Shit. It’s got a great use rate that allows us to use it as a cost effective supplement in our spray applications from late February through late November when the microbial activity in our soils is the highest.
